ABOUT

The person who actually builds it

Not an account manager, not a sales team. You’ll be talking to whoever designs your system, because that’s me.

I’m Shoaib Azam. I’ve spent nine years connecting business systems that weren’t designed to talk to each other — 295 projects, 7,200 hours, and a 100% job success rate across 219 reviews on Upwork.

Most of that work looks the same from the outside. A business grows, adds a tool for each new problem, and ends up with six systems and one person quietly holding them together by copying data between them. That person is usually good at their job and spending half of it on something a machine should do.

I started in Zapier in 2015, moved into Make and n8n as the work got more complex, and ended up writing a lot of code — because the interesting problems are always the ones where the ready-made connector doesn’t exist. Undocumented APIs, data arriving in the wrong shape, platforms expecting an import format nobody wrote down. I’m also finishing a PhD in Computer Science, which matters less than it sounds on most projects, and a great deal on the ones where no-code hits its ceiling.

I work from Lodhran, Pakistan, mostly with clients in Australia, the UK and the US. A small team handles build work alongside me, but I scope every project myself and review everything before it ships.

What you should know before working with me

I’ll tell you when something isn’t worth automating. Plenty of processes are annoying but only run twice a month, and the honest answer is to leave them alone. I’d rather lose the project than build something you resent paying for.

I build for the day it breaks. Every automation fails eventually — an API changes, a field gets renamed, someone adds a column. The difference between a good build and a bad one is whether it tells you, or whether you find out three weeks later from an angry customer. Error handling and documentation aren’t extras I quote separately.

I stay reachable. Two of my current clients have been with me since 2023. That doesn’t happen if you disappear after handover.
