When there’s no ready-made connector, I build one

Connecting two apps that already integrate is the easy part, and plenty of people do it well. The work worth paying for starts when the API is undocumented, the data arrives in the wrong shape, or the platform expects an import format nobody wrote down.

I’ve integrated Pylon, Fishbowl, Beds24, IsolarCloud, Drchrono and Acuity directly — none of which had a module waiting for me.

Nine years of this. Custom Zapier apps built with the CLI, Google Apps Script where no visual tool reaches, and a PhD in Computer Science for the days no-code hits its ceiling.

Before you book a call

What if my tool doesn’t have a Zapier or Make connector?

That’s usually why people contact me. If the system has an API, I connect to it directly — I’ve done it for Pylon, Fishbowl, Beds24, IsolarCloud and others. If it has no API at all, I’ll tell you on the first call rather than three weeks in.

How do I know it won’t break the moment you hand it over?

Most automations do break eventually — a field gets renamed, an API updates, someone adds a column. The difference is whether it tells you. Every build includes error handling and monitoring, so failures get flagged rather than discovered by an angry customer three weeks later.

Do you work with my existing tools or replace them?

Yours. Replacing a working system is expensive and disruptive, and it’s rarely the actual problem. The problem is usually that your tools don’t talk to each other.

What does a project usually cost?

Most single-workflow builds land between $600 and $2,500 depending on complexity and how many systems are involved. You get a fixed price before anything starts.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within a week for scoping, with most single-workflow builds delivered in one to three weeks after that. A small team handles build work alongside me, but I scope every project myself and review everything before it ships.
